This sort of automation could be very valuable especially with the amount of time that it saves the providers, but there are many pitfalls especially dealing with the quality of the data being collected as outlined here. I think that before CMS starts adding more requirements the current kinks need to be worked out first. There is a lot of discrepancy these days with the data and the quality of the measures being collected that need to be addressed before adding more requirements and more measures.
