Codenomicon Names Schmidt & Klein to Board

R&H's Howard A. Schmidt and Wind River's Ken Klein strengthen board's security software knowledge

SAN JOSE, Calif. and OULU, Finland -- Codenomicon, Ltd, today announced the appointments of security expert Howard A. Schmidt, president and CEO of R&H Security Consulting LLC, and software industry veteran Ken Klein, chairman, president and CEO of Wind River, to the Codenomicon board of directors.

Schmidt brings more than 40 years of experience in corporate security and defense, including serving as the special advisor for cyber-security at the White House. Klein has a distinguished 20-year career of successfully building startups into software powerhouses. In his current leadership role at Wind River, he continues to drive the market shift from in-house development to commercial software adoption.

“We are fortunate to be able to add the talents of Howard Schmidt and Ken Klein to our accomplished board of directors,” said Isaac Sundarajan, CEO of Codenomicon. “These appointments further strengthen our security and software development expertise and complement the experience of our current board. With this team in place, we are solidly positioned to provide telecommunications, networking, manufacturing, financial services and defense industries with products and services that reduce the costly risks that stem from poor quality and security breaches.”
