EDS has found a new CFO to replace Jody Grant, who left the $17 billion computer services company last year to return to the banking industry. Grant's replacement, effective March 8, is James Daley, a former co-chairman and chief operating officer of Price Waterhouse.
Daley left Price Waterhouse in June, prior to the completion of the firm's merger with Coopers & Lybrand to form PricewaterhouseCoopers. He was primarily involved in Price Waterhouse's financial-services practices during his 35-year career at the firm, but also had responsibilities that encompassed IT consulting practices, including the launch of ERP services.
Daley and Dick Brown, the new chairman and CEO of EDS, are both graduates of Ohio University and have served together for the past nine years as trustees for the Ohio University Foundation.
