EarthLink Inc. on Tuesday released a suite of security tools to help protect subscribers' computers.

The Protection Control Center includes anti-virus software, a spyware blocker and a firewall, officials with the Atlanta-based Internet service provider said.

The software suite integrates the individual security tools for faster scanning of a PC. The suite also allows subscribers to make applications or cookies exempt from being scanned or removed.

The Protection Control Center, available on EarthLink's Web site, is offered at no additional charge to subscribers of the ISP, and costs $4.95 a month for non-subscribers.
