Have you heard the latest buzz on the newest four-letter word, RFID, also known as radio frequency identification technology?Last week, I attended RFID World in Dallas, Texas. I put together three short segments in this podcast for you to hear.

The first segment from John Greaves, VP of the Global RFID Solutions Group at NCR, details NCR's position in RFID technology and touches on some interesting observations.

In the second segment, John Thorn, general manger of RFID Group, North America, at Check Point, talks about the company's investments in RFID startups such as Goliath Solutions, which signed a deal with Walgreen Co. pharmacies to deploy RFID at more than 5,000 stores.

In the third segment, Patrick King, who heads global electronics strategies at Michelin North America, discusses RFID in tires, access to data, and standards for the next generation in RFID technology.
