Minimize the Ribbon in Word

Gain back screen real estate space by minimizing the ribbon.



With all its menus, buttons and doodads, the Word 2007 and 2010 ribbon is useful if you’re trying to do something unfamiliar.

But if you use Word the same way over and over -- and you know the keyboard shortcuts -- gain back screen real estate space by minimizing the ribbon. To do that, just right-click and hit [N]. Do this again to restore it.
