Nvidia Releases Tesla P100 Accelerator, Software Tools

Nvidia has released a series of software and hardware tools aimed at the high-performance computer market, and for systems dedicated to AI and machine learning. In addition to the Tesla P100 GPU accelerator, Nvidia released a series of new software tools for its deep learning platform.

I think we're going to see Nvidia branch out a lot more in the coming years. Its hardware for industry has ungodly power and I think it could easily be leveraged for some advanced AI development.

However I think its biggest venture could be in autonomous cars. Its display tech and sheer horsepower could help power new generations of cars that are going to be far more connected than anything we've seen yet.

Nvidia Gets Serious About AI and Machine Learning

Interesting to see Nvidia get into the AI and Machine Learning areas of tech processing.

Nvidia has been working in HPC's within the media industry for years and it will be interesting to see if they can carve out another niche moving forward.
