Providus And FileNet Team On Operational Risk And Compliance Offering

Risk management vendor Providus Software Solutions Inc., Nashua, NH, and FileNet Corp., the Costa Mesa, CA content management provider today unveiled a partnership agreement to offer an integrated operational risk management and compliance system.

The joint development will combine combines FileNet's enterprise content management (ECM) and business process management (BPM) functionality with Providus' flagship product, RiskResolve, which provides a single environment for managing and consolidating operational risk, controls and compliance objectives.

The alliance is designed to help companies meet compliance mandates such as Sarbanes-Oxley, as well as establish operational risk management as a sustainable business practice to preserve brand reputation, strengthen corporate governance and protect shareholder value.

The integrated offering can be used to access and retrieve FileNet-managed content, documents, contracts and archived data files directly from the RiskResolve desktop dashboard to verify, validate and measure the effectiveness of a control environment. The combined software will provide direct correlation of content and records to the regulation, processes, controls, and testing of risk events, according to Providus.
