Critical Devices Signs New Partners
Asset-services-management provider Critical Devices Inc. today signed four new partners who will help enterprises track and monitor their hardware devices.
With the addition of Integrated Systems Group, Unique Solutions, Software Tailors, and Spectrum Solutions, Critical Devices has 22 service providers that deliver its electronic tracking and performance-monitoring services.
"The service providers that we've chosen have established relationships with corporations that are in need of the technology that we offer," says Andrew Levi, founder and chief technology officer of Critical Devices.
Levi adds that these partnerships will help his company become integral to enterprises by providing a holistic view about devices. "We want to help a company understand whether their hardware is achieving ROI or is an expense," he says.
Large organizations in general will benefit from asset-management services, because trying to keep track of equipment is a monumental task, says Kevin Gallagher, VP of research and reports for the Newport Group. Gallagher adds that the ability to automate this process on the Internet saves companies time and money over hiring and maintaining a staff to do it manually.
