Proactive health care
In the current structure it seems like we do a lot of addressing issues after something goes wrong, often horribly wrong. I like the concept of predictive models and telemedicine to address issues before they go horribly wrong. Every now and then we hear a story about someone being accidently diagnosed by a photo on the internet not knowing that they had an issue but there was some very telling trait that was visibly obvious to people familiar with the disease. If we can do that, then some predictive modeling with a system like IBM's Waston and some telemedicine follow ups it makes sense that we could keep people in a better state of health and improve survivability in the cases that cannot be avoided.
