Autobytel Upgrades CRM Tool For Auto Dealers

Software enables personalized communications with buyers across multiple channels.

Autobytel Inc. has released the next generation of its CRM tool for automotive dealers--Retention Performance Marketing 2.0. A key feature is the software's ability to pull customer data from a dealer's database, verify information, and segment customers by purchasing profiles. The software can automatically schedule all service reminders, promotions, and recalls. It also extends out to users, letting them maintain their maintenance schedules and customize a Web page to track mileage, vehicle value, and service updates.

The company claims that RPM 2.0 is the first industry software to offer features that integrate advanced customer segmentation with personalized communications across multiple channels, such as E-mail, telephone, and Web sites.

Autobytel says some dealers using an earlier version of the platform have seen a 380% increase in online appointments, and a 60% to 70% response rate to E-mail campaigns.
