Is The Pre Poorly Built?

There have been scattered reports that Palm's Pre smartphone is not holding up well. A few Pre users have been complaining that their screens are wobbly and can get easily cracked, the slider is poorly-designed, and the overall manufacturing is shoddy.

Apple May Kill Pre's iTunes Sync

One of the neat features about the Palm Pre is that customers can use iTunes to transfer and manage media files. It looks like Apple is not too happy about that, and it released a veiled warning that this feature may not last long.

Apple Intros iPhone 3GS

The new iPhone will be available June 19 with a faster processor, improved data connections, voice control, digital compass, and a digital camera that can record and edit videos.

T-Mobile To Have More Android Phones

Not very much of a surprise, but a T-Mobile representative told me this morning that the carrier would have a follow-up to the G1 in early summer. While the company did not say what handset they would be carrying I have a good idea of what it will be.

Sony Ericsson Embracing MicroSD?

It looks like Sony Ericsson has been hit with a big can of sanity, as it may be moving away from its M2 memory standard in favor of a microSD card. Hopefully this means the company is moving away from the proprietary roots that Sony stubbornly continues to champion.
