Wolfgang is responsible for leading Red Hat's worldwide storage consulting practice. He brings more than 25 years of experience in the software industry, and has led sizable PS organizations. Before Inktank got acquired by Red Hat, he was its VP of Services, and he has built a world-class support and consulting organization. Prior to that, Wolfgang had stints as Director for Application Architecture at the Credit Suisse Investment Bank, Director for Professional Services in Progress Software, and Director Americas for Professional Services for IONA Technologies. It was at IONA where Wolfgang discovered his passion for open source software because his role included responsibility for the delivery of FUSEsource training and consulting. Wolfgang has authored several books on the topics of workflow management and distributed object technology. He has a doctorate degree in computer science from the Technical University of Dresden (Germany) and an MS in computer science from the FAU in Erlangen-Nürnberg (Germany).
