I agree. The basic analytics tool that Pinterest offers barely scratches the surface, and using third-party analytics might help businesses grab the data they need to make better decisions about how they use Pinterest -- right now.
I wonder whether Pinterest will consider partnering with or incorporating third-party analytics tools in the future. It would be nice to see Pinterest incorporate a tool for users that already has a proven track record. Then again, a customized, in-house tool might also allow for flexibility to obtain certain data sets that are unique to Pinterest's platform.
