Business process management software company Fuego established a partnership with Daou Systems to sell BPM technology to the IT consulting firm's healthcare industry customers.

Under terms of an agreement announced Monday, Daou will use Fuego's application, called FuegoBPM, to streamline healthcare customers' business processes. Healthcare technologies from a variety of manufacturers can be incorporated into business processes through use of the Fuego application, the companies said.

The agreement stems from Daou's experience deploying Fuego's application at an unnamed customer site. Daou, a publicly held firm that reported $45.4 million in revenue last year, specializes in IT support for healthcare companies.
