Not only is this valuable for businesses who have a number of contributors to an album, but I could see a scenario in which businesses could use this feature to generate interest and enthusiasm around an event.
It might take some work in terms of figuring out the permissions, but perhaps during the event, the business could encourage those in attendance to share their photos from the event (and even hold a photo contest) to the exclusive album. The caveat would be that only those who attended the event would have access/could participate. It really plays up the exclusivity surrounding the event. On the other hand, the admins of the Facebook page would have to make sure they have a coordinated method for ensuring they can verify attendees and add them all to the album permissions.
It's just one scenario, but this feature certainly enables creativity and serves as a good tool for businesses to be more engaging on Facebook.
